• Commissioning, testing, and handover
Civil Construction of Fire Pump Room
A multidisciplinary team visited the site to assess the condition of the fire pump room.
• Outdated electrical systems and corroded pipelines
• No pressure sensing line or test header
• Non-functional diesel & electrical pumps
• No automatic sequencing or pressure-based starting
• Major non-conformities to NFPA 20 and local fire norms
Civil & Utility Readiness
• Cutting of roof for Pumps entry and exits & installation of Canopy
• Removal of the existing foundation and pump base

• Installed differential pressure gauges and NRVs
Testing & Commissioning
Test Protocols Followed (As per NFPA 20 & NFPA 25):
• Hydrostatic pressure testing of piping at 1.5 times rated pressure
• Pump performance testing
• Diesel pump start with simulated power loss
• Jockey pump cycling test based on pressure drop
• Flow test via flow meter to verify rated discharge
• Verification of alarm signals and panel logic
Documentation Generated:
• Pump performance curve
• Calibration report for flow meter
• Wiring and control diagrams
• As-built layout drawings
Deliverables
• Complete O&M manual and preventive maintenance schedule
